Present supply chains usually provide very complex networking between suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, customers, etc. It is the place where goods and services are exchanged. The related flows are not only materials but also financial and informative. These flows are emphasized by the growing of industrial systems complexity and its indirect and drown costs, make them increase day by day. It is then judicious to focus on both the issues of the complex systems and those of the logistics that connects them. Complex Systems issues are not only related to the realm of physical sciences and engineering, but encompassing fields as diverse as the economy, environment, humanities, social and political sciences. Thus, we believe it is important not to close the door to cross-curricular work and curiosity for other related areas.

ICOSYL conference will provide a high-profile forum for researchers and engineers to present state-of-art advances and innovations in theoretical foundations, experiences, issues, tools, testbeds, and applications on Advanced Management, Modeling and Decision support related to complex systems and its logistics, as well as to identify emerging research topics and define the future.

So, all authors are kindly encouraged to contribute to and help shape the conference through submissions of their research papers and e-posters. Also, high quality research contributions describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental, or theoretical work in all areas of Complex Systems and/or Logistics are cordially invited for presentation at the conference. The conference solicits contributions of abstracts, papers and e-posters that address themes and topics of the conference, including figures, tables and references of novel research materials.

Following proposed topics are divided into three essential tracks: Decision support systems, Systems engineering and Information and knowledge management. A fourth track is added to show the actual applications or to consider on the urban network.
